Pip's Window, Blundeston, Suffolk

One of Charles Dickens best loved novels is ‘David Copperfield’ which was greatly written from his experiences of his own childhood. In the novel, young Davy regularly attends Sunday worship with his beloved Peggoty at Blundeston Church where the long sermons are tolerated by occasional glances out of the window. This photograph was taken in the Church during one the recent Dickens festivals and with Dickens descriptive pen you can almost imagine the young boy looking wistfully out into the sunshine.

Love your description and the light pouring through that window. Very nicely captured!
