Underbelly

A much closer view of this iconic plane, take a long look as I have said before only about another year of flying time permitted as by then the engines will be too old to be used further. The Vulcan looked after our security during the cold war and was capable of delivering a nuclear bomb had the situation called for it, thank goodness in that part it never had to fulfill it's role.

Nice shot Vince. Also did some sterling work in the Falklands War. Rumour going round at the moment that they 'might' have found some engines to replace these so that it can go on for a few more years. If not it stops flying next year some time!!!
