Men at Work!

Outside the shop a drainage channel across the pavement has been a danger since the beginning of the year. After three calls to the Highways Department a report to "Fix My Street" a letter to local MP and other people contacting the Council as well - no action was the result. Today a crew stopped to do something else, they came and removed the cones that is the only reason no one has been injured thinking it had been done. A quick pointing out of what the problem was and to their credit the 'sarnis' were put away and they got on and sorted it out there and then. That makes a change for a Council crew on a Friday afternoon.
