Half Moon Cottage

This is Half Moon Cottage in Little Bookham Street and it dates back to around 1500. I think it was originally called Hall House and was only single storey with smoke from the fire escaping through gablets in the ends of the roof ridge. Nowadays one can see that another floor level and a chimney have been added.
