Dudley Zoo is home to some of the world's rarest and most exotic animals. They live amongst the majestic ruins of Dudley Castle which is of Norman origin dating back to around 1071.
The zoo has a vast variety of animals and is involved in saving endangered species such as Asiatic lions, Sumatran tigers, lemurs, penguins, chimps and orang-utans.
Here in this lovely setting there is much to see and do, friendly keepers will help, answer your questions and tell you whatever you want to know be it about snake or spider, lion or tiger!
Dudley Zoo offers a great day out for all the family, there is plenty to keep everyone happy, face-painting for children is just one enjoyable activity, then there is the history of the castle, local transport and numerous special events including ghost hunting!
There are souvenir shops, a cafe and several delightful places to relax and enjoy spectacular views over the town and its neighbouring counties.
