A friend of mine, now living in the USA, would love to locate some of her childhood friends from Huddersfield.  They are all female so most likely now have married names.  Is there any site that she can possibly go to with their childhood names to try to locate them or find an email address for them.  My friend is 68 years of age.  Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

The only way i can suggest Bob would be to contact the Huddersfield local newspapers with the maiden names of the ladies, surely someone will pick it up.

An article similar to this was in my local press from a chap in Australia who emigrated in the 60s the response was very positive.Smile

There's a web site called Friends Reunited which is free. I'm a member.

You put in the names of the schools you attended and up pop names of others who went to that same school who are part of Friends Reunited.
