Battens Farm is a working organic farm located in the Cotswolds, 2 miles from the village of Castle Combe, recently used to film 'War Horse', and 11 miles from Bath, the roman spa city. The cottages provide traditional-style country accommodations, with log fires, sofas and views over fields. Battens Farm offers hearty breakfasts using its own produce when available, and delivers it to the guest’s door. An outdoor seating area and a barbecue is available at the property. Kitchen facilities are available at the cottage, as well as a living area, giving guests the option of self-catering or bed and breakfast style accommodations. Battens farm is 4 miles from Lacock, used to film 'Harry Potter', and 4 miles from Corsham, where 'Poldark' was filmed. The arboretum at Westonbirt is nearby and the property is centrally located for the annual Badminton horse trials.
