Exeter Cathedral main entrance

The aspect of Exeter Cathedral that amazes those that enter. The three tiers of statues forming the frontage are wonderfully picked out by shadows cast by the afternoon sun.

The West Front is often the most impressive view of an English Cathedral. Exeter is good, but Wells is the ultimate example. A nice shot. The three crosses at the left add balance, though they seem slightly menacing.
