Carlsberg Brewery Northampton

Carlsberg brewery, opened in 1974 and now the fourth largest brewer in the UK, stands on the site once occupied by Watney's brewery - known at the time for its 'Watney's Red Barrel' bitter - and before that Phipp's Brewery. The brewery buildings stand close to the banks of the River Nene near the town's South Bridge.
