Latimer and Crick Corn Merchants Building, Northampton

Corn merchant's, Latimer and Crick, whose office and warehouse was ideally situated on the banks of the River Nene when materials were still delivered by canal barge, supplied local brewer, Phipps and Co., on the site now occupied by the Carlsberg brewery. After the business the building was set on fire. Escaping demolition, the building was converted into private apartments.

It looks too grungy to be private apartments, but if it ensures the building is preserved, then it's better than demolition. Good record shot.
