Perch Rock

Fort Perch Rock was built as a coastal defence battery to protect the Port of Liverpool during the Napoleonic period. It is open throughout the year and features an Aviation and Archaeology Museum and a permanent exhibition about the German bomber raids over Merseyside during World War II.
