Eagle Owl

Amongst the many displays at the Hull Veterans War Weekend 27-28th July was one of Birds of Prey. I think the label said Eagle Owl but please correct me if I am wrong

Yes, this is an Eurasian Eagle Owl. It is pretty much identcal to our (American) Great-horned Owls which I see often as we have had a family nesting in our neighobours tree for many years. Huge birds. Beautiful picture Dave,
