Santa Pod Raceway

Santa Pod Raceway in Northamptonshire is the home of European Drag Racing and host to the televised FIA European Drag Racing Championships. It's the fastest and loudest motorsport on earth . The track was named Santa Pod after the Santa Ana strip in America, combined with the name of the local village of Podington.

So vintage, so good! I like the colour of this car, it reminds me of a good old the 60's and 70's movies.

I'll drink to that Dave. Great memories Zbigniew- the last time I was at Santa Pod it was in the days of Clive Skilton and Denis Priddle still running a slingshot. I remember Denis Priddle doing the first sub 7 second run on British soil and the crowd went electric- seems positively snail like these days. Thanks for the memory Zbigniew.
