Deeping St James

Excavations by Archaeological Project Services took place at Deeping Lakes in 1996/97 . Finds included straight tusked elephant bones and evidence of a Bronze Age settlement .

That foreboding sky contrasts really well with the lightness of the ox-eye daisies which make a great foreground.
