The Golden Rule Ambleside

Rear entrance to the best pub in Ambleside. Front and interior to follow later. No music, No TV, No gambling machines, well one very old one hidden in the back room. Just good old fashioned chat, about anything and everything, and you can actually hear what is being said!

Taken on the way in rather than on the way out as the verticals are still upright, sounds a well good watering hole!

Just passing actually, but called in a couple of hours later after going upto High Sweden Bridge and sampled a couple of Dizzy Blondes, great name for a beer eh!!!
