Ash railway station and crossing at Ash Church Road. A sign at the right points towards Ash Green. Railways came to Ash and Ash Green in 1849. St. Peter’s Church, recorded in Domesday Book (1086), is a brief walk to the left. (Photo taken 22 Dec. 2003)
