disused railway station leicester

This is near the Holiday Inn.called Braunstone South station or something. With the Holiday Inn behind you, you go down the main a47 to Hinclkley keeping to the right. Theres a park entrance near the river bridges and its in there. its about a quarter or half mile from the Holiday inn. Thank you Peter Gurney for the update. It was part on the great Central railway Line and was closed in 1969.

West Bridge station is the name of this old station.

This is actually a recreation on the site of the second West Bridge station on the the Leicester and Swannington line, nothing to do with the Great Central. It closed for passengers in Sept 1928 but remained open for goods until 1966.
