Located within the Snowdonia National Park, Plasglasgwm is an historic Welsh farm nestling in the Glasgwm valley above the village of Penmachno. Dating back to 1573, Plasglasgwm offers unique accommodations in converted farm buildings and barns in a courtyard setting. Offering catered and self-catered options, the farm buildings have been converted to provide contemporary accommodations in a period setting. The rooms at Plasglasgwm retain original features including exposed beams, stone and slate walls, Egyptian cotton bedding and natural floorings, as well as on-site parking. Plasglasgwm offers a converted three-bedroom Welsh long barn, a deluxe suite for 2 guests in the old cow shed, and cozy double beds in the former 18th century pig sties. Guests can also enjoy our fully licensed coffee shop/bistro, offering breakfasts, light lunches and farmhouse dinners by arrangement, as well a selection of wine and local craft beers. A variety of mountain biking and walking trails can be found within the local area, and the owners can offer local knowledge to anyone wanting to explore the surrounding countryside.
