The Wogan

I think I am right in saying that Pembroke Castle is the only castle built in Britain that is built over a natural cavern - and this is it. It is entered from within the castle down a flight of steps , however the cavern is visible from the outside so might have been an access from the water ( does that make it a weak point I wonder ?).

Logic says it would make a weak point, but it doesn't seem to be having an adverse effect, well not yet anyway.
