About Me

For the last 11 years I have been living on a Narrowboat that I bought as a steel shell. It took me 6 months to 'fit out' and I did everything including the putting in 2000 bricks as ballast and fitting the engine. In the Summer I cruise slowly around, choosing certain canals to visit. This year I am heading down the River Severn to Gloucester , then up the Avon to Stratford and will get home to Derby sometime in early October.
I have a slide show of a trip I made in 2007, the music was changed by Youtube because of copyright restrictions. You should try and hear 'Motherland' by Natalie Merchant , so much better than the current tune.
