I've known snow in the mountains in October, but not here in the valley, so it was a bit of a shock. Our little town didn't get very much (thank goodness), but some places around had a good covering. Tomorrow has to be slightly better agai according to the forecast, but there's some storms coming in their wake. We knew we'd have to pay if we ever saw the sun for more than five minutes of course!
