We are told to expect upto 30cm (12 inches) of snow tonight with windchill factor of -7 degree's. That will slow things down a bit...

Over night around 2AM we had about 1/2" of snow. The main A4 road seemed to have been kept clear, but noticed all the side roads off it were snow covered on the way home. To the east and south seems to have faired worse so far with Gatwick closed and now Heathrow only operating with one runway. This afternoon might be a different story as that's when another dollop of snow is forecast for us.

I heard this morning that London had 6 inches, but the streaming webcam at Trafalgar Square was offline (probably due to the snow).  I did see on the cams snow in Bourton on the Water and North Yorkshire.  We are expecting 1-3 inches over here tonight.

I hate to rub it in, but I think I will anyway.  Tongue out

Sunny and 70°F at 12:10 PM.  No breeze, not a cloud in the sky and calling for a high of 75° today and 81° tomorrow.

Okay everyone, we're off to Ruth's house!  Smile  Don't worry, Ruth.  We'll all be leaving well before your Arizona summer gets underway.  I personally don't fare too well in triple digit temperatures!
