Normally very pleasant and an ideal opportunity for photographs, so bring plenty of cards/film for your camera. Hey, and don't forget to post them on POE when you get back because we shall want to see what you have been upto! |

On both of our trips we were blessed with beautiful, sunny, mild weather (only rained once or twice during each trip), and flowers blooming like mad everywhere. Also, I believe May and September may be in the "shoulder" seasons and the rates are lower for lodgings, etc. and also a bit less crowded. Enjoy your trip! Wish I were going! |

I always choose May or October for my visits, but then I come to roam the hills and lanes and walk through fields and go down by the rivers, and May and October are perfect for bird watching, which is what I do 90% of the time I am over (the other 10% I'll spend with friends). But when push comes to shove, you'll get rain whichever month you choose, and you'll also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being there whichever month and whatever the weather. Of course we will want to hear all about your trip and see all of your pictures. |

We have varied weather - last year it was really rainy! (there again the whole summer was rainy last year!). If you are thinking June/July it is best to come before our school holidays to get better deals. In May our school holidays are 23 - 31 May and the summer ones start 18 July this year all the way through to beginning of September. |
