Still widespread delays and many cancellations throughout the UK including road, rail, airports. The bad news is we have more to come apparently! I'm fed up with it already!!

3 to 5 inches of snow, been here since last week and not melted as its remained -0 since before then. -12 last night but the days are bright and sunny and look beautiful, they say it will last beyond xmas. Folks over 60 here get an extra £25 per week cold weather payment if your postcode is below 0 degs for a week (to help with heating costs). perhaps this new government will scrap this next year lol!

 Then on the radio tonight a lady who's daughter is stuck in Jo'Burg, South Africa stated Virgin Airlines desk there has been closed for 48 hours and they don't know what's going on with their flights. No one there to ask.
