Bob Helps Posts: 7 Joined: 16th May 2009 Location: UK | quotePosted at 13:12 on 10th July 2009 hello every one, paul is correct in the name variation it took me years to find my g/father, my father told me he was born in stone staffs and that he wasn't sure if is name was HELPS or PHELPS, what a shock when i found is name was WILLIAM EARPS. so from WILLIAM ELPin 1740 to THOMAS HELPS in 1805 to JOHN EARP in 1839 to WILLIAM EARPS in1872 isn't genealogy fantastic thanks to all who's been looking. bob |
