Being from the USA and having never been to the UK, I have no idea where this is, but it's highly interesting nonetheless. Cool

We have no Martello Towers where I live, being in the centre of England and in a village, not much call for them as outlooks lol but we did have a Military airstrip during the War, all be it a grass runway. There were quite a few dotted around this East Anglia area as we were a target for the bombings (not that I remember as I wasnt even a twinkle in the eye then Wink anyone else had one where they live?

I've hear of Martello Towers but have never seen one, so I googled it and came up with this site  http://www.martello-towers.co.uk/index.html

Very interesting! If you click on The 74 Towers you can see or read about them. Still, I can't figure out which one it may be though I've narrowed it down to two. I won't post them though, just in case you think I am cheating.
