As a newbie i promised to ask some weird questions-so her's the first.!

We all know futhest mainland points are John O'Groats to Lands End  -  but what are the furthest residential addresses in England?, there must be residents of those two places who have this claim to fame

I should think it's John O'Groats. But it depends on where you are. If you were in Scotland, it would be Lands end.

I reckon it must be one of the Islands off Scotland, you are asking the furthest residential addresses I assume you mean in the entire UK?

In England, possibly Land's End to Berwick-upon-Tweed, but I guess there are villages on the border that are further from Land's End.

Seems to be some serious confusion over question .The question only applies to

John O'Groats and Lands End- in these two places someone must live in the

furthest residential address or road.(In other words the people with the closest house to the  ends of John O'Groats and Lands End respectively )-  Hope that clarifies

In that case, I think its Lands End. There are houses right on the cliff tops. But I have never been to John O'Groats so, I could be wrong.

Perhaps the lighthouse at Duncansby Head (Scotland) is lived in. Duncansby head is further up than John O Groats and some people say is the true furthest point.
Then there is the Land's End Hotel, and the First and Last House, one of those maybe.
