I joined in many years ago so that my young son could become knowledgeable, and adept with medieval fighting & weaponry.. in particular, the two handed broad sword. I found a few cookbooks from those days, and truly enjoyed searching for ingredients to make saffron bread. The Ellis Peters books and films ~"Cadfael"cover quite a lot of details of food, costume and settings... |
