I like a Spotted Dick with custard, or a nice Apple and Blackberry Crumble with triple thick cream. I love Bird's custard. A real rasher of bacon, not the rubbish they dish up over here in the States. Oh, and I LOVE Fox's Glacier Dark sweets (they are licorice). I only have a few left in my sweet tin now, so I only get one as a very special treat. I wish I could pop on over and buy some more. Fish and chips, bangers and mash, anything with lamb (they have the most delicious lamb in England), shepherd's pie. Cadbury flake candy bars. REAL ALE (no, it really isn't warm). Tea and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. |
