I love Cadburys chocolate too.

Asparagus and plums from Evesham in Worcestershire are wonderful in season as are other locally grown produce. When we are out Evesham way we always go to the farm shop to buy local produce. I am limited in what I can eat with my wheat allergy so alot of traditional British fare is out! The town of Lye which is about 2 miles from me is famous for Balti (Indian food) which has now become British food. The Balti meal originates from the Birmingham area - and the Black Country.

I'm feeling a bit peckish now myself.  I think a visit to the British Pantry near where I live will be in order this weekend.  Owned and operated by ex-pats from England, they import all sorts of staples and favorites items that other ex-pats pine for living here in the States.  They also have a lovely tea room where they serve cream teas, afternoon tea, lunch (pub grub), and a full English breakfast on weekends.  They make their scones fresh every day.  I love it!
