My question is, What is a decent city to live in UK, where the economy is good, Job ooportunities, affordable cost of living, Safe, friendly people, etc. I don't think about London because it's very expensive, I have thought about Manchester! Any suggestions which region, city could fine to settle? Thanks in Advance for your help

LOL If I was you I would think about moving slightly out of the city you choose and commuting in. I personally would avoid London - as you say it is expensive but also such a large area. I find it a bit frightening. We are suffering a terrible recession here at the moment so jobs are scarce especially in the West Midlands which has been hit very hard. However Birmingham is a much improved city and there has been alot of investment in the centre. There are some nice places to live around Manchester. My nephew loves Liverpool - he goes to university there and thinks it is a great area. Of course in every place there are good and bad places. Good luck! |
