Formerly, the River Thames flowed into the River Danube. Today, its' geography is very different.

The River Thames starts in a meadow (Trewsbury Mead) near the village of Kemble, in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds.

It ends somewhere near Southend-on-Sea, Essex, where it flows out into the North Sea.
