If you were a crow (lol) it is about 603 miles or 970 km. Or the signboard at John O Groats states it is 874 road miles, about 1406 km to Lands' End

Went to both places in the early 1970s, and was horrified to find the cost of petrol in Scotland was 29p per gallon. Total trip over 3 days from London to John O'Groats via the western Highlands was around 2000 miles wandering about. |
