Yes, congrats Victor. As for motorway travel, I'm more or less forced to use it, but, just like the rest of you I love to get off the beaten track. Believe me, there are roads in Yorkshire that really are interesting, especially around the Thirsk area, I love driving down them.

This all reminds me of the book about French roads, for some insane reason I can't recall the title though. It's about avoiding the toll roads and shows several different journeys from the Channel ports down to the South of France, listing hotels, bars and places of interest along the routes. Sound familiar?
