Here are a few shots of the Yorkshire Dales.  We drove thru this valley by going north from Skipton.  It was amazing, a feast for the eyes around every corner.

You're so lucky, James.  I really love Whitby too.

Oh, yes, James.  I've since looked at the map and noticed how close we were to Lancashire.  God's country up there for sure.

To Americans England is England, people who've never been don't know how much difference there is between regions or counties.  But once you get to explore the country a little, you can see how diverse it really is, in geography, in architecture, in dialects and accents.  And it's all great.

I wish I could say that next time will be soon, but I'm afraid it might be a few years.  Cry

Yes, you need to take a trip over for a visit.  Arkansas is very green and pleasant, and Texas is about as diverse as you can get, climate wise.  But most of it is flat as a pancake.

I wonder if your relatives picked up the accents.

Well you'll just have to drop in on them in TX and AR.  And if they're not around when you get there, I'm just 2 states over in AZ.
