Whatever you do James the main thing is to enjoy it. We had rain everyday, on and off, from Tuesday, but it did not stop us enjoying the break. Look forward to hearing how you get on. ENJOY ! ! !

Dave, thank you for sharing you Lakes holiday.  Reading of all the places that you visited brought back happy memories of some of my lakes hols.  It was a pity that you had so much rain, but without the rain the lakes would not exist.  I wish i had a pound for every wet day i have experienced there. If i had, i would be able to afford another lakes holiday.  Again thanks for your 'meanderings'

Roy Jackson.

Not a problem Roy, thanks for the comment, and as you say the Lakes would not be there without the rain, but as I have always said, you need a bit of rain to see them in there glory, the colours, and streams, just come alive after a shower or two. My intention was to keep my new friends up to date and it seems to have worked. Back there again in 8 weeks so watch out for another weeks worth of inane babbling. Gives me an ongoing challenge for the week and keep the  POEsters amused. Still got hundreds of pics to sort through so there will be some more later in the week. Back to work tomorrow unfortunatley.

It was a pleasure Ron. Pity you have to wait 8 weeks for the next load of unadulterated drivel.....Can't wait come soon enough for me. As long as I have kept the POE troops happy, that is all that matters

Hi Karen, thanks the feedback, makes doing all the more worthwhile. But you will have to wait another 8 weeks for more irrational ramblings from the Lakes. But please keep your eyes peeled as I have hundreds of photos to sort through, so a few more should be appearing this week
