Check the following website out and save yourself an absolute fortune on your telephone bills fellow members! It also caters for texts, and mobiles as well! Take a look at http://www.call18866.co.uk/ Yet more helpful information shared with friends, another good reason to be part of surely one of the best websites on the net www.PicturesOfEngland.com

My telephone bill is about £6 to £8 per month, no need to change anything, no contracts, start or stop when you like, no catch (well not that I have found anyway, and I've been with them for about 2 years). Just think you could phone Sue in Nevada for 2p per minute!!! Yippeeeee!!! You heard it here folks!

I agree that we pay through the nose (often through the bank account, as well) for telephones.  I've had war on with BT who will threaten to cut you off if you don't pay the bill but have the nerve to charge an extra £1.50 per month when you do!

They really do want to have their cake and eat it!  Commplaining does no good, but I found an answer.  I'm changing my ISP from AOL to Talktalk.  The advantage here is that I will pay line rental to them, buy a package of free calls, and get Broadband thrown in as a freebie.  Just waiting for my MAC now.

Whenever I can, I use Skype to talk to folks.

Computer-to-computer it's actually free!

Even if you use it to phone a landline, it's amazingly cheap. I put £10 credit on Skype months ago, and I still have about £3 left after dozens of calls to America, France and Australia.
