That's good news Ron - we should care for the people who fought so bravely for our country!

But as has already been said this government (of crooks and egotists) dare do anything.  The one thing they dare not do is face the people they have ignored since Phony Tony came into (too much) power in 1997.

Even when I see my MP she daren't looke me in the face, but scurries off before I can catch her.  Wait until she wants my vote - vengeance is a dish best served cold!!!

You might have to wait a couple of years Alan, it will be right cold by then!!

Thanks also to Stephanie who so rightly says, look after those who looked after us!

SInce the end of World War Two, the Gurkhas have been badly treated. And now the final insult to try to throw them out. I dont know where our government loyalties are. They are definately NOT with the people who gave thier lives for our freedom. And it is not just Gordon Brown, all of the parties have done the same since 1945.

Thanks’ for that link Lyn, I learnt something myself there, I know who the Gurkhas are and what they have done for us over the years but didn’t really know much of the history of the regiment. When we was based in Berlin my doctor at the military hospital was a Gurkha, probably the best doctor I ever saw, he treated my daughter when she was first born, he was such a kind man who I will never forget. My husband was attached to the Ghurkha regiment whilst based in Belize and he has nothing but praise for these brave men.
