I'm not sure really why this made the news, I saw an excerpt from Oprah show on the BBC website, I expect she's not the only person in the world living as a man but pregnant, but what do I know. Maybe there wasn't much to report that day so they got desperate LOL

Maybe your right Lyn. What I cant understand is, if she wants to be a man, why have a baby? That is not exactly manly is it?

I think that SHE is definately a woman, cant make up her mind. lol

Oh, I forgot. Its a womans prerogative to change her mind.  Think I will duck now before the plates and vases fly in my direction. He he he.

They are blowing it out of all proportion over here.

A man having a baby? controversial? No, she has had some gender reassignment (not all or she wouldn't be pregnant) enough to be able to legally change her papers to say shes a man, but like I said before, shes still a woman, still has a woman's reproductive organs. Story over.

Because she is married to an older woman who already has grown children and can't have any more, and they want a family. I guess she wants to be a dad.

I think thats selfish personally, I feel sorry for the children having to explain when they are older that they have 2 mums... but one of their mum's is a dad ...confusing!!

Confusing? She's married to an older woman (bad start!), with children already, (it's getting worse by the second), she can't have any more (think yourself lucky!) and they want a family (obviously less money than Madonna). She wants to be a dad, (I'll send you my train set, oh, and my razor)...and I hope I never stand next to you in the public loo.
