Yeah, that's it. I just saw the display here in Baltimore a few weeks ago. It was fascinating! I always thought that watching an autopsy would be interesting. I've got several books on the human body. One is just like Body Worlds. It shows a cadaver sliced in mm's through all the systems.

Love your new avatar. Krissy will be jealous! LOL

I'd love to have seen that exhibition, it was quite contraversial here, but looked really interesting!!

Oh best not make Krissy jealous!! she'll punch my arm!!

Peter, good luck mate, it hurts more if you think it will!!!! Surprised

When the COPD nurse made the appointement for me, she said that she knows they hurt. She had never had one and thought that she should try it to find out what she puts us through. I told her to make an appointement to go with me and try it. Dont know if she did, but I will find out on tuesday. Lol. I bet she didnt.

Hi Peter, would love to stick you. I guess they are checking your blood gases? Afterward hold the gauze tight against your wrist for two minutes. Then gently lift it. Do not rub the area with the gauze because that will rub the clot off and cause the bruise. I hope it goes well. Will be thinking of you!

Hi Catherine. They are testing for Oxygen content. I know that I will bruise though. Since January when I had the stroke, I have been on a test program for a new drug that thins the blood to stop clotting. If I scratch myself and break the skin, I bleed for a couple of days. Everybody said I was a little bleeder, now its true. Lol

Sorry to hear that Peter. Blood gases is checking for oxygen and carbon dioxide. Sorry to hear about the stroke. I hope it did not leave you with any permanent damage.

No Catherine, I recovered very quickly. Every couple of months I go for a complete checkup. Physical and mental. They say that I was mental to start with, so dont expect any improvements. He he he.

I  gotta go for a blood test tuesday. Deep artery job in the wrist. Its the most painfull needle job I have ever had. I get left with bad bruses arround my wrists. Want to do mine for me Catherine? I think this time I will refuse unless they take it from my groin. It dont hurt there, dont even feel the needle going in.

Sorry to hear this Peter. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
