There is a forum in Friends reunited connections that I use , but some of the people that post in some threads can be quite nasty. We don't need that.Yell

No we don't need nasty here do we Wolf?  One of the things I love about this forum is that even when we disagree we do so respectfully and are able to remain friends.

Isn't what you have to say just fantastic! But you know POE cannot continue without the additional support of new members, we must fight for our position on the net so please tell your family, friends, neighbours and anybody who will listen, because once informed, they will never let go! Keep up the good work fellow POE members!!

Hi Ron:  I see from the threads that you and Anna have had a wonderful and well deserved vacation.  Must have been great - Western Australia.  I hope to get there someday, but now that I've found this site and the wonderful people on it - I'm kind of spoiled for England.  One of these days I just might show up at your door for the CS Lewis tour. lol.  Glad you're back! - missed you.  Kiss

Thanks for your kind words Ruth - I actually won the holiday to Western Australia via a Palandri Wines competition, which was also supported by Emirates Airlines for the return flights! Wow, what a fantastic prize - we thoroughly enjoyed it. But above all the Emirates Airline flight was superb!

I try to keep an eye on all the threads Ruth, but as the site grows it becomes harder so I reckon I speak for all POE members when I apologise for not responding to everything, and agree that sometimes I have been lucky to stumble across something to comment over. I will always wind up my mate Peter of course, he's a great guy; takes a lot of stick from me but he knows I don't mean it! Besides he gives as good as he gets doesn't he?

As for the C. S. Lewis Tour, it's in the notebook!

Diana, I know you came to Oxford to do the C S Lewis Tour as a visitor, but you left as a life-long friend and actually left a huge impression on me (your luggage was leaning against my leg!) Ha, ha only joking, but not when it comes to being a life-long friend of both Anna and I....thank you!
