china plate= mate.   You over looked an important point Ron---the word that rhymes is geneally left off, isn't it? So, to clarify and add to the confusion for  our overseas friends, an example sentence as you might hear could be like----

Got to my mickey, found me way up the apples, put on me whistle and the bloody dog went. It was me trouble telling me to fetch the teapots.

Now all you have to do is put the rhyming words back in---and then translate it!
