Evening all....

 

Ely Cathedral also asks for donations and i think tax deductable or something. 

We use to belong to the English Heritage and LOVED it.

Richard ,I am  sure you would be very welcome at English heritage.

I also  love cathederals and have visited many  ,my favourites are Wells  in Somerset and  Lincoln.

also have a passion for the English country church,each one is unique and a lot of history can be found within these buildings.

Hi Vera:  Nice to see you again.  Happy New Year!

Rick - I've only been to 2 - Salisbury and York Minster - both just take your breath away.  The ruined buildings, like Whitby and Rievaulx Abbeys are also English Heritage sites, as is Stonehenge.
