I also love cathederals and have visited many ,my favourites are Wells in Somerset and Lincoln. also have a passion for the English country church,each one is unique and a lot of history can be found within these buildings. Rick - I've only been to 2 - Salisbury and York Minster - both just take your breath away. The ruined buildings, like Whitby and Rievaulx Abbeys are also English Heritage sites, as is Stonehenge.
