Happy New Year, Mick and Sue.  Hard to believe it's 2009, innit?  That means it's been 10 years since the big Y2K scare.  Remember that?  lol

The decorations will be available in the shops in 2 months time and Christmas songs will be on the radio by April! Well, maybe not quite then.

Well indeed Ruth; also a year later, a lot of the world concurred to celebrate the Mellinium a year early.  And this year, Big Ben celibrates its' 150th Anniversary as shown here http://www.bigben.parliament.uk/

Happy New Year Friends!

It's a cold one in Boston; we had another snow storm blow through yesterday dumping half a foot of snow. The temperatures are below zero wind chill factor, so I am just trying to stay warm!

Me too, Lyn.

Paul, thanks for posting the Big Ben item.  For some reason, I thought it was older than 150.  I think it's very cool that a monument, that's arguably the most recognizable icon of your nation is 150 years old, and compared to a lot of other stuff over there, relatively new.  lol
