That's cool, Patrick!  Might I suggest the Grand Canyon? A lot of tourists from other countries make a little triangle between Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and S. California.  When we were in Ireland, the hostess at one of the B&B's we stayed at told us all about their family trip to the US and they did that little triangle.  I don't much care for Las Vegas or S. California, but the central California coastal area and  San Francisco are great places to vacation.

we actually did that two years ago!

a big tour through west america. San francisco, grand canyon, yellowstone, archers up to salt lake city and back down seeying some more parks. absolutely stunning scenery
