Kevin Pietersen, probably Englands finest player. I believe he will go down in history as the best we ever had! So why is he getting the stick that he is.....what did he do wrong? So he has an ego, don't we all? C'mon POE members lets tell Kevin that we love what he does best!!

He is indeed a great player and by far the best South African ever to play for England that I can recall !

Just watched the Sky News interview with Kay and Kevin Pietersen........he's certainly no nut and what a polite guy! Kevin, I for one hope you continue to smash the ball into the crowds wherever you go, thus making the English Cricket Board (ECB) wake up and ask 'just why did we ask him to resign?' KP really is the best we have had for many a year, and in fact I am rather surprised that this thread hasn't reached double figures rather than just the one post from Mick. Do we English support our sports stars sufficiently? Obviously not, so c'mon POE members lets hear it for Kevin Pietersen and then maybe the ECB will have to reconsider their position and reinstate a great sportsman. Now that's the power of POE!

He's a great batsman and an exceptionally good captain. We will no doubt miss the motavation he gave to the team!!!!

Being a Hampshire hog, I remember another fantastic South African batsman that played for my county and England, by the name of Robin Smith. He too, was a passionate cricketer, it's just a shame home grown English players seem to lack a bit in that department.

In answer to your question Ron, he did nothing wrong, he just said it like it was.
