Hi Michael (wise guy) lol!  We will be there before you know it, but we will be in Ireland a week before we come over to Old Blighty. Can't spend all that time and money on the transatlantic flight without hitting both countries.  Yes, we will be seeing Ron and Paul.  I let you all know if they're real or just a figment of our collective imaginations. lol

Yes, Steph, I would have loved to see you, but I think we need to visit the Black Country on our next visit.

Michael, my hubby drove probably 600 miles on our last visit, so he's a pretty good British driver.  I just sit back and enjoy the ride and tell him to "mind the pedestrian, dear."  lol

typical back-seat driver eh Ruth? How are you getting to England from Ireland, I live a couple of miles from the ferry terminal at fleetwood, but there are several entry points on the west coast.  Take care and enjoy!!!!

Careful what information you give out Michael, they could end up knocking on your door, and then you'd be sorry!! LOL

No, front seat driver, Michael - like Hyacinth BOO-KAY.  Sitting in the front passenger seat feels like sitting in the drivers seat to me.  Wink  I even call my hubby "Richard," whilst he's drving over there.  lol

Thanks for the travel tips.  We're flying over on Ryanair.  We got 2 RT fares for $158.  You can't beat that with a stick.

It's only a hour flight, Michael, silly.  We flew on the last time we were over there and they were fine.  We have a regional airline over here called Southwest.  They are the same type of airline - no frills. We fly them on 1-hour flights to California, and before they can throw the peanuts at us, we're beginning the descent.  lol
