Its time to stop pussyfooting around and either finish the job proper or call them back home. There are two ways to end this, All sides (including leaders of those that hide under stones like the cowards they are, setting off 'booby traps) must get around a table and agree on something or use saturation techniques to destroy their hide holes. Why should our young people be constantly sent as cannon fodder? TALK or GLOVES OFF!!! |

Sorry if my post sounds a bit strong but why should parents have to go through this . The only way forward is by negotiation and the sooner it is started the better, after all it will come, and these young people will be names on our many roles of honour, along with our grandfathers. |

We, as a small country have not got the resources to waste on sustained peace keeping in foriegn lands. We could withdraw our troops back home and 'pull up the draw-bridge' but that wouldnt help those countries out there who couldnt defend themselves would it. We have to show that we are doing our part in world peace and though I am right behind our military forces and the brave job they do, its about time the highly paid politicions sorted it out through negotiation.. Only yesturday one of our Members of Parliment, a self confessed gay, Conservative oil millionair, was caught off camera whinging that his MP' salary (£70,000 plus expenses) was "like living on rations". He wants to get out there and risk his life 24/7 like our troops do for a salary of less than £25.000. |
