It looked like the end of the world as we knew it, with so many economies failing. Yet here we are at what is probably the end of the world for the huge majority of people struggling to pay their rent, mortgage or just exist even, and the banks are lined up to award their employee's with as much as £400k each, as a bonus for getting the bank out of the mire! Please somebody remind me, what did we do for the bank as taxpayers? This is a total disgrace and one that will not earn Brown...ie points!! The rich get richer, the poor stay poor!! |

Both employers are multi-million pound companies, and my current boss always appears in the Sunday Times Rich List each March, listing the top 1000 richest in Britain each year. |

They were the cause of the trouble in the first place, they are getting rewarded for failure and STILL we quite literally pay, whether it be the Government handout or the obscene rate of interest that they charge us on our credit cards!! The banks will merely say, but if we don't pay them they will walk! Well, I say them them walk and when they can't get a job elsewhere we might, just might be on the road to recovery. As things stand a huge percentage of decent people here in the UK cannot afford their Service's bill...Electricity, Gas etc. Gordon Brown you have a fair bit to answer for!! |
