I really am surprised that so many of our friends didn't know about pantomimes! It is such a Great British tradition here - most of our soap actors spend the Christmas period in panto!!! Krissy you would love it - and the girls would - you have men dressed as women, women dressed as men, everyone shouting "It's behind you!" - great fun!

lol at Chrissy!

Pantomime season is roughly a month either side of Christmas. Pantomimes are put on in theaters and are roughly based on childrens books, themes simular to Disney type cartoons. The plays such as Cinderela etc are very funny, aimed mainly at children or family audiencies. The lead man (say, Prince) is usualy played by a women celeb and the women (say, ugly sisters etc) are usualy played by men in over the top make-up and ballgowns. Its all very funny as they involve audience paticipation.Very, very colourful and perfect family entertainment on a winters evening out. You must see if you get the chance. Oh yes you will! lol!

That sounds like a lot of fun, Michael. Too bad I've never seen it. Maybe one day.
